Any good resale shops?
Submitted by momtojackandemmy on February 19, 2008 - 8:24pm.
I have 4 bags (outdoor leaf bags) full of boy and girl clothes up to 2T and some 3T. I don't want to have a garage sale but was hoping you guys might know of a resale shop that could use a ton of clothes. Thanks!

Once a upon child
Today they talked about a store: "Once a Upon a Child" go see the post bellow if you wish. oe see their webpage for more instruction www.ouac.com
Yes
Someone actually just posted a thread about Once Upon a Child today. I've heard good things about them from a few people. See the other thread to see how to prepare and present your items for a smooth transaction.
I think there was a not-so-favorite place mentioned too.

kids resale
My daughter is in 24mo-2T and I am always buying clothes resale or on ebay, let me know what you want for them and I'll take them off your hands as far as the boys clothes she can wear the ones that are nuetral and even the one's that are not she can use as play clothes, I also have a 2 year old nephew who can always use more clothes :)
Really?
I would love to see what you have as far as boy clothes go. My son is 10 months but is already fitting in to some 2T clothes (he's very tall for his age). Let me know if they are still up for grabs.

Okay girls, so I called
Okay girls, so I called about this and it is AWESOME! You pay $5 and tag your items (which may take some time to fill out the tags) and then drop off your stuff and the following Monday after the sale your check is mailed to you. You don't have to be at the sale or set it all up! It is awesome and I am going to do it. They only have a few spots left, but if you have a lot of stuff and don't want to do your own garage sale then check it out!
Its time for the next "High Quality Children's Spring/Summer Resale" at the Wakarusa Missionary Church in Wakarusa, IN. Sat., March 29th, 8:00am to 12:30pm. Want to get rid of your gently used children's clothes, toys, games, shoes, videos, dvds, cds, books, baby/kids furniture, and more without having to do all the work? (Infant sizes through Juniors' size 9.) Sellers keep 90% profit...10% will be given to area organizations in need. WE'RE LOOKING FOR MORE SELLERS UNTIL MARCH 1ST OR UNTIL WE HAVE 150 SELLERS. WE'RE IN NEED OF SELLERS & VOLUNTEERS. This is a high-traffic sale...its like going to 150 sales in one! Simply drop off your items and let others do the work for you! For more information, please contact: Sarah Freitas at 574-862 -1628.

Another seasonal resale option
"Pocket Change" is a seasonal kids consignment sale which is run for the purpose of charity and it is pretty similar to the one listed above in Wakarusa, however this one is right on the south side of Mishawaka so a little closer for some. It normally takes place at Fulmer House Bed & Breakfast which is about 1 mile south of Meijer on 331. There is a spring sale coming up in April and usually a Fall one too. Here is the link for more info.

Could use some newborn and infant girl clothing
I am due to have my little girl on April 8th. With my first child I received all his clothes from my sister because she had her son 5 months before me. So I get all the hand me downs and they were basically new. I have 5 kids and then my little girl on the way, so I could use some cheap or donated newborn girls clothes. Let me know.
Thanks
Jackie
As I am sorting through them
As I am sorting through them in the next few weeks, I will let you know what I find. Not sure how much I have in the smaller sizes though...
