A gift for Christmas Eve?
I've heard of some parents giving their kids 1 gift to open on Christmas Eve. I don't remember this being a "tradition" when I was growing up, and so far we haven't done it with our kids. What about you, do you give your kids something to open Christmas Eve?

That was never something we did growing up so it is probably something that we will never do. I actually didnt want to 'give' any presents to him from us just all from Santa but we bought the new baby some so we put some under the tree with Baileys for Brayden from us. Only like 3. We really spoiled him this year.
Nothing from us
Since we have Christmas with my parents on Christmas Eve they get to open presents from their grandparents and there is always a toy. It has never come up so far about opening anything else early. I remember begging my parents when I was little and they would give in and let me open one on Christmas Eve every once in a while. I am sure it was to shut me up, not really tradition.

When we were kids my mom would let us open one gift but not in my house everything is from Santa.
