My daughter is 17 months and she loves the wooden puzzles that she can easily get a hold of. She also loves phones and most toys that make noise. Leap Frog toys are great for her age as well. She loves the musical instruments and stuff like that. I am a big person for wanting toys that help her learn. She seems to like things like that too.
Clipo
My lil guy is 19 months old and loves to build with blocks. I saw the new Clipo toy from Playskool on TV and I think he'd love it. It reminds me somewhat of the old bristle blocks and seems to be easier for them to handle and put together; the "structure" that they build will also spin on a turn table like thing. My 7 year old even said his brother would like it! LOL Mega-blocks and cars/trains are a big hit in our house too.
